    COMMUNITY & ACADEMIC OUTREACH

    The Center for Instructional Technology provided logistical and technological support for area schools’ online learning needs 

    The Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Programs provided occupational training to The Tuscaloosa SAFE Center Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, who serve Lamar County

    Distance learning educational opportunities provided to 99 high school students through ACCESS

    Vision Days, a campus-wide recruitment effort hosted by the Division of Community Affairs, served 135 students

    The School of Law provided legal assistance to sexual assault victims through The Tuscaloosa SAFE Center, which serves Lamar County

    The Institute for Rural Health Research performed CPR, EMT, and Basic Life Support training for Healthcare Providers and the lay public

    Through an ADPH Rural Health grant, the Institute for Rural Health Research has trained over 170 people in Opioid overdose recognition and treatment in 10 rural West Alabama counties

    The School of Law hosted two continuing legal education attendees

    Two local high school students enrolled in Early College courses

    UA's CDR training program provided training to 61 local childcare providers

    UA implemented Help Me Grow to encourage developmental screenings and referrals for young children
